I’m Mathy, the founder of Evening Moon Candle. My full name is Malaimathy. In Tamil, “Malai” means evening and “Mathy” means moon, which inspired the name Evening Moon. The evening and moon remind me of quiet moments, relaxation, and slowing down, which connects closely with our focus on calming, relaxation, and wellness.
Starting my own business was a childhood dream, and that dream became a reality in 2024. I handcraft each candle in small batches with care and attention to detail. I enjoy creating candles that make everyday moments feel a little more special.
Our candles are made with a custom soy blend and premium phthalate-free fragrance oils. We offer a variety of fragrances, including calming scents such as Chamomile, Eucalyptus, Neroli Nirvana, and Lavender & Sage.
For me, candle making is more than just making a product. It is a way to create something beautiful that can become part of someone's routine — a quiet evening, a moment of self-care, a cozy home, or a thoughtful gift for someone special.
